Sweet Alabama Pecan Bread
This classic Southern treat is rich, buttery, and packed with crunchy pecans. Despite its name, it’s more like a soft, moist dessert bar than a traditional yeast bread.

Serving Ideas
Enjoy warm or at room temperature with:
- A scoop of vanilla ice cream
- Fresh whipped cream
- A hot cup of coffee or tea
Tip: Toast the pecans in a dry skillet or a 350°F (175°C) oven for 5–8 minutes before adding them to the batter. This enhances their flavor and gives the bread an even richer, nuttier taste.
