Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup (120 ml) hot water (for each ramekin)
- Cooking spray or a little butter, for greasing the ramekins
Optional Seasonings
- Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Paprika
- Everything bagel seasoning
- Chopped fresh chives or parsley
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
- Lightly grease two oven-safe ramekins with cooking spray or butter.
- Pour ½ cup (120 ml) of hot water into each ramekin.
- Carefully crack one egg into each ramekin, making sure the yolk stays intact.
- Place the ramekins into the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 5–7 minutes, depending on your preferred yolk consistency:
- 5 minutes: Very runny yolk
- 6 minutes: Soft, jammy yolk
- 7 minutes: Slightly firmer yolk
- Carefully remove the ramekins using oven mitts.
- Lift the eggs out gently with a slotted spoon and dab the bottoms with a paper towel to remove excess water.
- Season with salt, pepper, and your favorite toppings before serving.
