- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Juice of 1 large lemon
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
For the Creamy Parmesan Pasta
- 12 ounces (340 g) fettuccine, linguine, or penne
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups (480 ml) heavy cream
- 1 cup (100 g) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup (120 ml) reserved pasta water (as needed)
Garnish
- Fresh parsley
- Extra grated Parmesan
- Lemon wedges
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to the package directions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of the pasta water, then drain.
- Season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Transfer to a plate.
- Reduce the heat to medium. Add 3 tablespoons butter to the skillet. Stir in the garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the lemon juice and lemon zest, stirring to combine. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the lemon garlic butter over the chicken. Sprinkle with parsley and keep warm.
- In a separate large skillet or saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat. If the sauce is too thick, gradually stir in the reserved pasta water until it reaches your desired consistency.
- Serve the creamy Parmesan pasta topped with the lemon garlic butter chicken.
- Garnish with extra Parmesan, fresh parsley, and lemon wedges.

Tips
- Freshly grated Parmesan melts more smoothly and gives the best flavor.
- Do not overcook the chicken to keep it juicy and tender.

- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently with a splash of milk or cream to maintain the sauce’s creamy texture.
