Ingredients
For the Flatbreads
- 3 cups (375 g) all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 cup (240 g) plain Greek yogurt
- ¼ cup (60 ml) warm water (add a little more if needed)

- 3 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Add the Greek yogurt, warm water, and olive oil. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic. If the dough feels sticky, add a little more flour, 1 tablespoon at a time.
- Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and a pinch of salt.
- Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each into a circle or oval about ¼ inch (6 mm) thick.
- Heat a large cast-iron skillet or nonstick pan over medium-high heat.
- Cook each flatbread for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown with bubbly, lightly charred spots.
- Brush each warm flatbread generously with the garlic butter.
Air Fryer Method
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place one or two flatbreads in the basket without overlapping.
- Air fry for 4–5 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Brush with the garlic butter immediately after cooking.

- Add chopped cilantro instead of parsley for a different herb flavor.

- Reheat in a hot skillet or air fryer for 1–2 minutes to restore their soft texture and crisp edges.
