Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons water (1 tablespoon per ramekin)
- Butter or cooking spray, for greasing the ramekins
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F) for 3 minutes.
- Lightly grease two small oven-safe ramekins.
- Add 1 tablespoon of water to each ramekin.
- Crack one egg into each ramekin.
- Carefully place the ramekins into the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for:
- 5–6 minutes for a runny yolk
- 7–8 minutes for a soft-set yolk
- 9–10 minutes for a firm yolk
- Carefully remove the ramekins (they’ll be hot).
- Use a slotted spoon to lift the eggs out, letting any excess water drain away.
- Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.

Tips
- Silicone muffin cups or small oven-safe dishes work well if you don’t have ramekins.
- Cooking times may vary slightly depending on your air fryer model, so check the eggs a minute early the first time.
- For easier removal, run a small spoon gently around the edge of the egg before lifting it out.
