This Air Fryer “Golden Crust” Cheesy Bread Bake is crispy on the outside, soft and cheesy on the inside, with buttery garlic flavor in every bite. It’s perfect as an appetizer, snack, or side dish for pasta, soup, or salad.
Ingredients
- 1 small loaf crusty bread (French bread, Italian bread, or sourdough)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat the Air Fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
- Slice the bread into a crosshatch pattern (without cutting all the way through), creating small cubes that remain attached at the base.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, olive oil, garlic, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Brush or spoon the garlic butter mixture deep into all the cuts in the bread.
- Stuff the cuts with the mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheeses.
- Wrap the bottom of the loaf loosely with foil to help keep the cheese from leaking while allowing the top to crisp.
- Place the bread in the Air Fryer basket.
- Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the top is golden brown.
- For an extra crispy top, cook for an additional 1–2 minutes at 375°F (190°C).
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm.
