Air Fryer Cod
This Air Fryer Cod is flaky, tender, and perfectly seasoned with garlic, paprika, and herbs. It’s a quick, healthy seafood dinner that’s ready in under 20 minutes and pairs well with vegetables, rice, or potatoes.
Ingredients
- 4 cod fillets (5–6 oz / 140–170 g each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
For Serving
- Lemon wedges
- Tartar sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Brush the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the cod.
- Lightly grease or spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil.
- Arrange the cod fillets in a single layer, leaving space between them.
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the fish flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges and tartar sauce, if desired.
