Air Fryer Cheesy Chicken Bread
This crispy, cheesy chicken bread is made in the air fryer with a golden crust and a creamy chicken filling. It’s perfect for lunch, dinner, or a hearty snack.
Ingredients (Serves 4)
For the Filling
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or sour cream
- 2 green onions, finely sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Bread
- 1 loaf French bread or Italian bread
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Extra mozzarella for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the bread
- Cut the loaf in half lengthwise.
- Scoop out a little of the soft center to make room for the filling.
- Make the filling
- In a bowl, combine:
- Chicken
- Mozzarella
- Cheddar
- Cream cheese
- Mayonnaise or sour cream
- Green onions
- Garlic
- Italian seasoning
- Paprika
- Onion powder
- Salt and pepper
- Mix until well combined.
- In a bowl, combine:
- Fill the bread
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly over both bread halves.
- Sprinkle extra mozzarella on top if desired.
- Season the crust
- Mix the melted butter, olive oil, garlic powder, and parsley.
- Brush the mixture over the outside edges of the bread.
- Air fry
- Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (180°C) for 3 minutes.
- Place the bread halves in the air fryer basket (cook in batches if needed).
- Air fry for 7–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the bread is golden and crisp.
- Serve
- Let cool for 2–3 minutes.
- Slice into portions and serve warm.

Tips
