- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
For Serving
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices cheddar, American, or Swiss cheese (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, gently combine the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Do not overmix.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties about ¾ inch thick. Press a small indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb to help prevent it from puffing up during cooking.
- Place the patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Air fry for:
- 8–10 minutes for medium
- 10–12 minutes for medium-well
- Cook until the burgers reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) for ground beef.
- If adding cheese, place a slice on each burger during the last 1 minute of cooking, allowing it to melt.
- Toast the burger buns in the air fryer for 1–2 minutes, if desired.
- Assemble the burgers with your favorite toppings and sauces, then serve immediately.
