Ingredients
For the Burger Patties
- 1½ lbs (680 g) ground beef (80/20 for the juiciest burgers)
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
For Serving
- 4 hamburger buns, toasted
- 4 slices cheddar, American, Swiss, or pepper jack cheese (optional)
- Lettuce leaves

- Pickle slices
- Ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, or burger sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, gently combine the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix just until combined—avoid overmixing.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties about ¾ inch (2 cm) thick. Press a small indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb to help prevent it from puffing up during cooking.
- Arrange the patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving a little space between them.
- Air fry for 10–14 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking.

- Medium-Rare: 130–135°F (54–57°C)*

- Medium-Well: 150–155°F (66–68°C)
- Well Done: 160°F (71°C)
*For food safety, ground beef should be cooked to an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
