Easy 3-Ingredient Slow Cooker Beer-Braised Pork Chops
These tender, juicy pork chops are slow-cooked in beer and onion soup mix for a simple, flavorful meal with almost no prep.

Ingredients
- 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
- 1 (1 oz/28 g) packet dry onion soup mix
- 1 cup beer (lager, pilsner, or your favorite light beer)
Instructions
- Place the pork chops in the slow cooker in a single layer if possible.
- Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix evenly over the pork chops.
- Pour the beer over the top.
- Cover and cook:
- Low: 6–8 hours
- High: 3–4 hours
- The pork chops are done when they are tender and reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Spoon some of the flavorful cooking juices over the pork chops before serving.
Optional Gravy
For a thicker gravy:
- Remove the cooked pork chops and keep them warm.
- Pour the cooking liquid into a saucepan.
- Mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch with 2 tablespoons cold water.
- Stir the slurry into the simmering liquid and cook for 2–3 minutes, until thickened.
