High-Protein Mug Bread (Soft, Fluffy & 5-Minute Bread)

Ingredients
- ¼ cup (30 g) oat flour (or finely ground oats)
- 1 scoop (25–30 g) unflavored or vanilla protein powder
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons plain non-fat Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon water or milk (if needed)
- Pinch of salt
Optional Add-Ins
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder (for savory bread)
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon everything bagel seasoning
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon and a few drops of vanilla (for a sweeter version)
Instructions
- Lightly grease a large microwave-safe mug or ramekin.
- Add the oat flour, protein powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir to combine.
- Mix in the egg and Greek yogurt. Add the water or milk if the batter is too thick. Stir until smooth.
- Microwave on high for 90–120 seconds, or until the bread is set in the center.
- Let it cool for 1 minute, then remove from the mug.
- Slice in half and enjoy as is, or toast it for a crisp exterior.
