Ingredients
- 1 French baguette or Italian loaf, halved lengthwise
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley or 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional, for extra flavor)
- 1 cup (100 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup (25 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F) for 3 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, garlic powder (if using), salt, and pepper.
- Spread the garlic butter evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella evenly over the bread, then top with the Parmesan.
- Place the bread in the air fryer basket, cut side up. If needed, cut it into smaller pieces to fit.
- Air fry for 5–7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden.
- Garnish with extra parsley if desired, slice, and serve immediately.
Optional Add-Ins
- Red pepper flakes for a spicy kick
- Italian seasoning
- Crispy cooked bacon bits
- Sliced pepperoni
- Fresh basil after cooking
Tips
- Keep an eye on the bread during the last 2 minutes, as cheese can brown quickly.
- For extra-crispy edges, cook for an additional 1–2 minutes.
- Serve with pasta, soup, salad, or enjoy it as a delicious snack.
