Slow Cooker 3-Ingredient BBQ Country-Style Ribs
These Slow Cooker 3-Ingredient BBQ Country-Style Ribs are incredibly tender, juicy, and coated in a rich, smoky barbecue sauce. With just three ingredients and minimal prep, they’re perfect for an easy weeknight dinner or weekend comfort meal.
Ingredients
- 3 lbs (1.4 kg) country-style pork ribs
- 2 cups (480 ml) barbecue sauce (your favorite variety)
- 1 packet (1 oz/28 g) dry onion soup mix
Instructions
- Lightly spray the inside of your slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
- Arrange the country-style ribs in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix evenly over the ribs.
- Pour the barbecue sauce over the top, making sure the ribs are well coated.
- Cover and cook:
- Low: 7–8 hours
- High: 4–5 hours
- When the ribs are fork-tender, carefully transfer them to a serving platter.
- Spoon extra barbecue sauce from the slow cooker over the ribs before serving.
Optional Caramelized Finish
For a sticky, caramelized glaze:
- Preheat the oven broiler.
- Place the cooked ribs on a foil-lined baking sheet.
