- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ cup (60 ml) water
For the Wraps

- 1½ cups shredded cheddar or Mexican-blend cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- ¼ cup diced red onion
- ¼ cup sour cream
- Salsa, as desired
Optional Add-Ins
- Sliced jalapeños
- Diced avocado
- Black beans
- Corn

Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the onion and cook for 3–4 minutes until softened. Stir in the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add the ground beef and cook for 6–8 minutes, breaking it apart, until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the taco seasoning, smoked paprika, black pepper, and water. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Warm the tortillas for a few seconds to make them easier to fold.
- Divide the beef evenly among the tortillas, then top with cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, sour cream, salsa, and any optional add-ins.
- Fold in the sides and roll the tortillas tightly into wraps.
- Toast the wraps in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden and crispy and the cheese has melted.
Air Fryer Option
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
- Lightly spray the wraps with cooking oil.
- Air fry for 5–7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crisp and golden.
Tips
- Let the beef cool slightly before assembling to help keep the wraps crisp.
- Avoid overfilling the tortillas to prevent tearing.
- For extra crunch, toast the wraps after rolling.
- Swap the ground beef for ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
