Air Fryer Poached Eggs
These Air Fryer Poached Eggs are an easy, hands-off way to enjoy perfectly cooked eggs with tender whites and deliciously runny yolks. They’re perfect for avocado toast, breakfast bowls, salads, or Eggs Benedict.
Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 4 tablespoons hot water (2 tablespoons per ramekin)
- Cooking spray or a little butter (for greasing the ramekins)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Optional Toppings
- Chopped chives or parsley
- Red pepper flakes
- Everything bagel seasoning
- Grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
- Lightly grease 2 small oven-safe ramekins with cooking spray or butter.
- Add 2 tablespoons of hot water to each ramekin.
- Carefully crack one egg into each ramekin.
- Place the ramekins in the air fryer basket.

Air fry for:
- 5–6 minutes for a very runny yolk
- 6–7 minutes for a soft, jammy yolk
- 7–8 minutes for a firmer yolk
Cooking times may vary slightly depending on your air fryer and the size of the eggs.
- Carefully remove the ramekins using tongs or oven mitts.
- Run a small spoon around the edge of each egg and gently lift it out.
- Season with salt and pepper, add your favorite toppings, and serve immediately.
