Tender, juicy steak bites are slow-cooked in a rich honey garlic sauce until they’re melt-in-your-mouth delicious. This easy Crock Pot recipe is perfect for busy weeknights and pairs beautifully with mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted vegetables.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds (900 g) sirloin steak or stew beef, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ⅓ cup (80 ml) honey
- ¼ cup (60 ml) low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak bites for 2–3 minutes, just until browned on all sides. (This step adds extra flavor but is optional.)
- Transfer the steak bites to the crock pot.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the garlic, honey, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, onion powder, black pepper, and thyme.
- Pour the sauce over the steak bites and stir gently to coat.
- Cover and cook on Low for 4–5 hours or High for 2–3 hours, until the steak is tender.
- In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and cold water to make a slurry.
- Stir the slurry into the crock pot during the last 20–30 minutes of cooking. Cover and continue cooking until the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and sesame seeds before serving.
