Taco Ranch Bites

Ingredients
For the Filling
- 1 pound (450 g) lean ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (if needed)
- 1 packet (1 oz/28 g) taco seasoning
- ¼ cup (60 ml) water
- ½ cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup (100 g) shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup (50 g) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
For the Bites
- 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess grease.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 2–3 minutes, until thickened.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the ranch dressing, cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and green onions.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles. Cut each triangle in half to make smaller pieces if desired.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of the beef mixture in the center of each piece of dough.
- Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges tightly to seal.
- Arrange the bites on the prepared baking sheet and brush the tops with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley, if desired, and serve warm with sour cream, salsa, guacamole, or jalapeños.

Tips
