Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan or a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3–5 minutes.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the sour cream. Begin and end with the dry ingredients.
- Stir in the key lime juice, key lime zest, and vanilla extract until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60–70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.

- Whisk together the powdered sugar, key lime juice, zest, and melted butter until smooth.
