This Air Fryer Cod is flaky, tender, and perfectly seasoned with a lightly crisp exterior. It’s a quick, healthy meal that’s ready in under 20 minutes.
Ingredients
- 4 cod fillets (5–6 oz / 140–170 g each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika (sweet or smoked)
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon dried parsley or Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
- Lemon wedges, for serving
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Air Fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels.
- Brush both sides of the fillets with olive oil.
- In a small bowl, mix the garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, parsley, salt, pepper, and lemon zest.
- Sprinkle the seasoning evenly over both sides of the fish.
- Place the fillets in the Air Fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between each piece.
- Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8–10 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets. The fish is done when it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
