Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup (240 ml) hot water (½ cup per ramekin)
- Butter or cooking spray, for greasing the ramekins (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Equipment
- 2 oven-safe ramekins or silicone baking cups
- Air fryer
- Slotted spoon
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
- Lightly grease the ramekins with butter or cooking spray.
- Pour ½ cup hot water into each ramekin.
- Crack one egg into each ramekin, keeping the yolk intact.
- Carefully place the ramekins into the air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for:
- 5–6 minutes: Soft, runny yolk
- 6–7 minutes: Jammy yolk
- 7–8 minutes: Fully set yolk
- Remove the ramekins carefully using tongs or oven mitts.
- Lift each egg out with a slotted spoon and place it on a paper towel for a few seconds to drain.
- Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.
