Ingredients (Serves 4)

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp butter (if beef is lean)

2 tbsp all-purpose flour

2 cups beef broth
-
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
-
½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)

½ tsp black pepper

Optional: ½ tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
Instructions
1️⃣ Brown the Beef

Cook ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat.

Break it up into small crumbles.

Drain excess grease if needed.
2️⃣ Add Flavor

Stir in onion and cook 3–4 minutes until soft.

Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
3️⃣ Make the Gravy

If using lean beef, add butter.

Sprinkle flour over meat and stir well. Cook 1–2 minutes (removes raw flour taste).

Slowly pour in beef broth while stirring to avoid lumps.

Add Worcestershire, salt, pepper, and optional herbs.
4️⃣ Simmer
