Ingredients
- 500g (1 lb) ground beef
- 4–5 potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 cup milk (or half-and-half for creamier texture)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- Salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions
1. Cook the beef
- In a large pot, brown ground beef with onion and garlic
- Drain excess fat
2. Cook the potatoes
- Add diced potatoes and beef broth
- Bring to a boil, then simmer 10–15 minutes until potatoes are tender
3. Make it creamy
- In a small pan, melt butter
- Stir in flour to form a roux
- Slowly whisk in milk until smooth
4. Combine
- Add the creamy mixture into the soup
- Stir well and simmer until slightly thickened
5. Add cheese
- Stir in shredded cheddar until melted and smooth
- Season with salt and pepper
